Some time ago I wanted to do something made of grannies, a blanket ... I  would love to, but too much work.It takes me too long to do anything, plus if it´s a big proyect, so I eventually get tired and leave it. I still have some unfinished things . One day I found this picture of a bag, it seems to be from the70´s, and I liked it, but using other bright colors. Then I found this post of Tarta, which I loved, where she included the hexagons template, so I started to work on it in February, thinking it would be ready for summer ... because since I am so slow, tried to do the summer stuff in winter and the winter in summer. Anyway, I never get to finish. It is summer, I should be knitting hats for the winter ... and I still work in the bag. Hopefully I may finish it for next year.

This doll is made from a Mimi Kirchner template for The Purl Bee, that you can downloud for free here. This lady makes incredible dolls. Mine is not as good as hers in the picture below, but I don´t have the pacience to do all the details. I made the dress simplier and  legs never stay in place, but it was the first time I made one. You can see everything she does in her blog. It´s georgeus. Thank you Mimi for sharing it.

CATS AND FRIENDS

I made this little cat from a japanese pattern of this amigurumi book, and I was very surprised it came out pretty good.I didn´t expect it to be so much like the ones at the book. You can see more of this book in the above link. I bought it in Yesasia. Sometimes the shipment takes a long time, but at the end you always get the order and they have reasonable prices.

A TU MANERA

Long time ago I decided I wanted to learn how to crochet, I searched out in the magazines and I didn´t find anything. So I took a look in Internet, and I found out the craft blogs. I never thought that so many people were sharing their ideas, works, templates and knowledge in the web. Thanks to all these blogs I´ve been able to make a lot of stuff, not just crochet, but felt, and a lot more. From this blog I will share everything that I think it can help anyone to be inspired and make some hand made things. Here is some information about the last books I´ve bought and that I recommend.
